Giving Credit received a catalytic philanthropic investment from Unorthodox Philanthropy. Through its Extraordinary Leaders Transforming a Field Search, UP looks for passionate leaders and teams to invest in by providing early flexible funding to fuel leaders’ entrepreneurial drive.

Unorthodox Philanthropy recognized David’s leadership in shaping the field of community finance with an initial investment in his leadership in the Spring of 2023. In the Fall of 2023, they doubled their investment to expand the founding team bringing Ashley in as Cofounder.
